so many cats

Phew, I got one hell of a horsey fix this weekend. What a blast! There's nothing quite like being out of the game for a couple weeks to make you appreciate just the smell of horses (and occasional splatter of poo on one's boots).

so happy just to be around the barn (also, count the barn cats in that pic - there are so many!)
Anyways I'm gonna call the weekend a raging success. Obvi I didn't ride in the typical Saturday lesson at OF - but Brita and Wick had a solid ride, and Kaitlyn and Tillie filled the extra spot in my trailer, marking their first visit to OF with trainer P. Perhaps Kaitlyn will write about that herself tho. Mainly I just had a blast being around all the activity.

poor quality photo can't hide Wick's fancy
And yesterday was show day at Loch Moy. It was really a beautiful day, and imo everyone came home with quite a few reasons for feeling proud. On paper, the outing was perhaps a mixed bag, but as is often so true with horses, the reality was much better.

True to form, I took approximately one million pictures, and there's some video too. And if you ask reeeeeally nicely, Brita might be convinced to write another guest post about her show day experience haha (Kaitlyn will be recapping her show day here). So stay tuned for more details!!!

there were also lots of these two dogs!

In the meantime hope you all had a really nice weekend!
