i iz stuck

You know that one pair of pants (everyone has a pair), where you somehow ALWAYS get the belt loop caught on random door knobs or hooks when you walk by?

Yea this horse knows about that too....

(Side note: would your horse be that reasonable about getting his FACE stuck?!? Lol what a saint...)

  1. Oh my gosh! What a word turn of events, I wonder why the horse was left unattended to begin with...eat a saint in his/her reaction though. I think even level - headed Nancy would have cause for concern over a door being stuck to her face! Kika would deff freak the F out...although K has tried to hang herself a couple of times by getting her leadrope caught in things and has *knock-on-wood* always kept her head and patiently stood still while i untangled her

    1. yea my mare is usually pretty quiet about getting caught up... but idk, getting stuck on a door like that? seems a little.... intense for a pony haha

  4. Aw! Poor guy! :) Part of me thinks Gavin would just stand there and wait for help (have I mentioned his mellowness?), but then part of me is like "he's a horse, he would not be cool about this".

  5. Bobby once partially untied himself from the trailer to better able to graze and ended up wrapping his leg several times around in his lead rope (Not sure how he got so thoroughly entangled. He's that smart.), and just stood there with his face tied to the bottom of his leg until someone noticed his plight and rescued him. I think if he got stuck to a door he'd do the same.

    1. somehow i kinda get a kick out of bobby quietly standing around completely tangled up, but losing his ever loving marbles at even the hint that maybe he could please move laterally off the leg...

  6. Nope, my horse would not. She would send herself to the equine hospital for emergency surgery because she would find a way to gouge herself with the door. Oh wait...she did that already! With a hitching post.

I suspect this gif cuts out right before that horse loses his mind and goes tearing down the aisle with the door still attached to his halter.

  7. That would give me a heart attack!

Candy accidentally stabbed himself through the chin with a nail when he was younger- we found him happily munching grass with a 4 inch nail sticking out of his face!
He also decided several weeks later the "thug life" was for him when he shredded his blanket down the middle and walked up to me with the front of his blanket hanging around his knees.

I swear, he is so laid back 90% of the time, and then complete spaz 10% of the time.

    1. i suspect it was one of those doors with the sorta 'L' shaped handle with one open end, and he just looped it right through. doesn't seem like the best choice hardware for a barn...

  11. OMGNO. I love how multiple people are in the background as he noses around that door...and then they are nowhere to be found once he actually catches his face!

    1. ha right? that's exactly what i thought too! tho in the video that Saiph found (see her comment) you can see that this particular horse's handler had just stepped through that door, and then came running back out after the horse! poor baby!
