vacation's over

I'm going back to work today after nearly two weeks of staycation (not including barn shifts...). It makes me a little sad, but the time off was a much needed rest. 

 Plus we had lots of good riding weather after the initial gloomy rain. I guess I should be extra grateful bc the this week's weather is taking a nosedive... 

So I'm not really sure how much will get done. We'll hopefully get a ride in tonight, and mayyyybe tomorrow tho it's kinda doubtful. Then the arena will likely be rock solid through the weekend.

barn cats are on the lookout for *anything* remotely cozy lol

So in the meantime I'll just be back at work, doin my normal office thing - and actually catching up on everyone's blogs!!! I'm still reading everything, but have just been woefully behind...

More interesting updates to come later!! For now, enjoy this picture of my kitten sitting on TOP of my big cat getting his face cleaned. Lol.

    I went back to work his morning too, getting up was hard!!!!
    Hope the weather forecast is wrong and that you might sneak in extra Sade time somehow!

    Definitely did not want to get up and go to work this morning. Just to make you feel better, it's even colder where I live (SE Michigan). High of 16F today and low of 9F tonight. Better yet, current wind chill of -8F. Not going to get much riding done this week due to temperature, even with an indoor.

      they make me so happy all the time lol (except when they are wreaking mass destruction on my home... that's not really my favorite haha)

    This week is definitely gonna be for indoor snuggles with my smaller animals... we have highs in the low teens! Ack

      yikes!!! i feel bad abandoning the pony... but it is just toooo cold and kittens are too snuggly.... :(

    Wait! You're in Baltimore? I'm in the process of moving to D.C. this summer (not 100% confirmed, but 99.8%) We'll be so close!

      oooh that's so exciting!!!! yep dc and baltimore are mucho close lol. there's another blogger (sadly not very active -http://ridingwithoutthehorse.com/) who's in the dc area too, and there are TONS of horses around here :) definitely let me know when you're in town!!
