Let's close out my first week on the new job with some new gifs, shall we? It's been a good week. Very busy, but very good. The new schedule is intense but so far it feels manageable and energizing. And I am really REALLY excited about the job itself.
It's probably already fairly evident to long-time readers that the new job has interfered a bit with my typical blogging schedule. Because.... if we're being honest, my typical blogging schedule included reading / commenting / writing / all things blog during the middle of the work day haha. That's not realistically going to stay the same moving forward.
So I'm a little bit behind in reading all of your posts - maybe by a day or two - but I AM reading them! And trying to comment when possible! And I'm farther behind in replying to comments here on this blog. But I will try to stay up with that bc that's one of my favorite things about even having the blog in the first place.
Rest assured tho - I'm on email pretty much all day long for work, and it's such a nice refreshing break when an email pops up from one of you commenting here. So please keep it coming!
All in all tho, the job has so far felt like a really positive change, and all the anxiety leading up to closing things out at my last organization and familiarizing myself with a new routine is dissipating now.
Who knows, maybe that will translate to how I feel in the saddle too? Since I'm pretty sure all the anxiety was related anyway... Hard to tell. We'll see how I feel in today's jump lesson! Stay tuned for a report on that later - and obvi on tomorrow's show haha.
In the meantime, because I'm kinda an idiot, I posted the same scored test sheet twice last week, instead of posting both the Prelim AND Training tests. So for those of you diehard readers who really wanted to know how we did score-wise in the training test, here's the sheet:

Happy weekend everyone!
haha I wondered about that, but instead of looking closer I just thought wow how on earth did she get the same score twice!? Glad the job is going well, I hope you have a blast at the show!
ReplyDeleteGood luck at the show!
ReplyDeleteYour gifs are always the best!
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome gifs as always!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad the changeover is going smoothly and that you are enjoying the work. ☺☺☺☺☺
lol Welcome to my world. Grad School + work + commuting ate into commenting on other blogs soooooo much. Hopefully you find a nice balance!
ReplyDeleteI swear you've tapped into some sort of secret .gif vault cause these are some high quality images. Also, what kind of birds are those???? I desperately need one.
ReplyDeleteGood luck tomorrow!!! Can't wait for the helmet cam :D You got this!
ReplyDeleteSo I giggled at the first one... But then the second one... I totally lost it. Unexpected. Good luck tomorrow! ^.^
ReplyDeleteOh one more thing, I found/watched this video a few times the night before my last event (last season) knowing it was going to be a muddy wet mess (which it was) BUT this video makes muddy wet messes at the lower levels seem like a piece a cake!!! Very helpful, for me anyways😜 http://youtu.be/cnYebrbL6PE
ReplyDeleteGood luck tomorrow, and have fun!!!
ReplyDeleteHaving an adult job really cramped my blogging style
ReplyDeleteYay- sounds like a fun new job! I feel your "blog following" pain- I always start the week off with the best of intentions but sometimes I blink, the day's over, and the last thing I want to do is stare at a computer screen!
ReplyDeleteHaha! That second gif is great. Glad to hear that the new job is going well!
ReplyDeleteYou have a gift in picking out gifs. Glad things are working out. Less anxiety all around is the goal!
