As promised, I still have some random photos of my beloved Bali that will eventually find their way onto this blog. Including this fun little sequence haha. I mean, why not, right? This blog is essentially my digital photo album anyway...
|
Plus who could resist that face?!? |
|
You see, Bali is a very playful horse. We ultimately moved him into the more rough-n-tumble geldings herd with the idea that they might teach him some manners. Turns out, he just made friends with whom he would play nonstop all day long. Like his buddy Calypso, above. |
|
And Wick too! Wick obviously didn't want to be left out of the fun!! |
|
Except they're not really the most graceful group. As evidenced by Bali nearly eating shit here haha. And this front section of the field is somewhat long and narrow in shape, so they'd just run back and forth, back and forth. lol |
|
And Bali would obviously have you believe that he is quite Fierce & Fancy. Obvi. Calypso is a little more... derpy haha. |
|
My personal favorite of their many moves is the synchronized Halt, Stare, Snort, then Turn-n-RUN pattern. Which they executed flawlessly every time. Seriously these horses could have been their own drill team. |
|
And it just went on and on. With Bali typically instigating, and Calypso more than happy to oblige. |
|
Except, obviously, when there are pretty mares around :)
Oh dear Bali, your pasture mates miss you too!! |
Too cute to handle! I love the synchronized one. And they should stop and stare at Izzy, she is the most majestic creature. :)
ReplyDeletelolz they were clearly concerned that perhaps they had bored their most prized audience ;)
Delete"Guys, guys, guys, BE COOL. The girls are here. BE. COOL."
ReplyDeletelol right?
Deleteoh geldings... haha. The mare are much too dignified for that group! They would be great entertainment...maybe have a whole gelding act, starting with synchronized Halt, Stare, Snort, then Turn-n-RUN.
ReplyDeletehaha i would watch that over and over again. and yea, no isabel does not 'play' - that's much too low-class for her hahaha
DeleteOh my gosh so adorable!!!!
ReplyDeletedefinitely super cute. i'm gonna miss watching them run around all the time!
DeleteI love when they play :)
ReplyDeletemeeeee too! they never really did very much, aside from just playing halters or whatever, before bali came. but maybe now that bali showed them the way they'll still go at it even tho he's gone?
DeleteSo cute. I love it when they play, it's so sweet to watch :) Plus it makes for great photo opportunities, haha!
ReplyDeletelol indeeeeeeed. and photo opportunities are obviously my favorite ;) anything for the pictures!
DeleteI love pony pics!! Especially when they're action shots haha
ReplyDeleteha i agree completely :D
DeleteThe synchronized spin-n-run moves are EPIC!
ReplyDeletelol right?!? wish i could have harnessed more of that power under saddle haha
DeleteI love watching horses play in turnout. That group seems quite entertaining!
ReplyDeleteha i could watch them for hours ;)
DeleteWhoa, Bali and his friend TOTALLY have that spin & run DOWN!
ReplyDeleteit's like they practice or something.... :P
Deletelol bunch of goofballs
ReplyDeletehahaha yup
DeleteOk, synchronized spinning has to be a thing, right? If so, he's a gold medal winner!
ReplyDeletehaha my thoughts exactly ;) poor bali... he's got to be able to win at something, right?
DeleteI love how Izzy just stood quiet the whole time <3
ReplyDeletelolz she's a good girl <3 one of my favorite things about her is her indifference to whatever nearby horses are doing
DeleteI probably watched their synchronized spin for 5 minutes. I love it!
ReplyDeletelol i am right there with ya! it's mesmerizing ;)
DeleteSo cute! Miss him
