happy memorial day!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful long weekend (at least for readers in the US). We had an AMAZING time at the Maryland Horse Trials at Loch Moy this weekend - and I have soooo much media to share!!!! (And I may or may not have purchased digital files of ALL the photos taken of us: 120 pics for $99. Seemed like a good deal to me and Isabel is too cute to resist. So. Um. Brace yourself for allllllll the pictures haha)

But given the holiday etc, I probaby won't have the full re-cap started until Wednesday. 

In the meantime - a little spoiler: we had our best ever dressage (again! except it blew our previous best ever out of the water) followed by challenging full-size stadium and cross country courses. We picked up a refusal on xc (related to the water, details to come) - but given the influential nature of the course and our initial strong dressage score we were still able to finish in the ribbons. Hurray satin!

      thanks! this dressage trainer is seriously amazing. i can't believe what she's been able to do for us in a such a short amount of time. all my other trainers have been great too - and we've certainly been making progress along the same path - but private lessons with C kicked things up a couple notches and i'm loving it!
