That is suc...Haha Charlie is absolutely a big deal! That is such a good exercise. My very first jump lesson was a bit like this one - vertical, pole, vertical, pole and just on an endless circle. It was such a good exercise to keep me focused on the circle and hitting every jump with a good stride, but then really getting me there with making me push forward forward because then the striding would actually happen lol. But this is only a one stride and like bending while you're jumping. But damn, Charlie got it! He is right to think he's a big deal ;)Mandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14485570296592298816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-932439930694780998.post-29003982952936914982018-01-18T07:07:45.207-08:002018-01-18T07:07:45.207-08:00dude it was challenging, and... honestly kinda emb...dude it was challenging, and... honestly kinda embarrassing to struggle bus so hard through it when it was just ground poles and a single cavalleti. like.... why is it always the smallest jumps that screw us up the most? thanks tho - fortunately charlie picked up the slack for us!!! emmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05686949099663199382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-932439930694780998.post-24116730781960562922018-01-18T07:05:26.541-08:002018-01-18T07:05:26.541-08:00Grid. on a bend. awhellno. I don't love highly technical exercises like this (because my automatic reaction is that P will stop), which just means we have to do it more!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-932439930694780998.post-8769051098285002122018-01-18T06:35:30.048-08:002018-01-18T06:35:30.048-08:00trotting poles on a bending line is SUCH a good ex...trotting poles on a bending line is SUCH a good exercise too -- really keeps ya honest about balance and rhythm!emmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05686949099663199382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-932439930694780998.post-28812987653481142452018-01-18T06:34:52.971-08:002018-01-18T06:34:52.971-08:00hahaha tuff stuff, Grif! i kinda love stock piling...hahaha tuff stuff, Grif! i kinda love stock piling exercise ideas for that eventual day when the ground will be good again!emmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05686949099663199382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-932439930694780998.post-25863981841849698482018-01-18T06:34:09.007-08:002018-01-18T06:34:09.007-08:00oooh the circle of death??? i still haven't do...oooh the circle of death??? i still haven't done the full thing with charlie, only like half at a time. in some ways, the above exercise is kinda easier than that bc you only have to hold the bend for half a circle instead of a full. both fun/challenging tho!emmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05686949099663199382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-932439930694780998.post-41716572371411217942018-01-18T06:01:46.995-08:002018-01-18T06:01:46.995-08:00Loves these exercises with Batty at the trot (with...Loves these exercises with Batty at the trot (with ground poles)!Sarah (threechestnuts)https://www.blogger.com/profile/17295039309380470750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-932439930694780998.post-42750935002045166342018-01-18T03:56:40.801-08:002018-01-18T03:56:40.801-08:00This looks hard but SO good and so cool.
